Feeling summer in the air reminds me of sunny S.A. and windy George. We've moved into our new place, set up the studio, and it's delightful to have time to paint. I've just completed four new works, one in particular is inspired by the conflicting moods of the sea here in St Leonards, one week being wild and brightly dull, while ne next is full of rich blue-greens being filled in by brightly coloured twilight tones. What utter sublime confliction.
